The chickens started a siege. If anything came out of Catlest it immediately would be fired at. But even though the turkeys were outnumbered two to one they were more prepared and armed than the chickens.

The turkeys thought it would be a good idea to have an army. The turkeys also had a plan.

About fifteen turkeys were scrambling to the wall and firing at the chickens. This strategy did primitive damage to the chickens since the archers burst most of the chickens' catapults. Then the chickens lined up and did the same thing. This copycatting scattered the turkeys on the top of the wall. But the turkeys were ready for this. As soon as they saw that the chickens had bunched together they unleashed a stack of logs onto them. This performance sent chickens scattering.

There was one thing the chickens couldn't stand ... the Cambrian.

The Cambrian was large arrow that the turkeys would stick between two rocks and throw a smaller rock at the arrow. When the rock hit the arrow, it and the two other rocks would shoot out very fast. After that, the smaller rock would also tumble over the edge. All at once chickens threw themselves into the most devastating charge of the day. They hurled themselves at the wall throwing everything they could find. When they reached the wall they started using themselves as battering rams. But they couldn't break through the wall. The turkeys saw the gallant charge turn into confusion and they took full advantage of the halt. The turkeys started lining up their Cambrians and firing them at the chickens. Soon the chickens had gone into a head long retreat. The retreat lasted all the way to the chicken house where they stopped to talk over what happened on the battle field.
