![]() Are The Chickens Up To Something? The Plan To stop The Chickens. The Siege. Peace. |
The chickens found out all right, but way too late. The turkeys had been prepared for such things. They had organized a special security to keep themselves safe from the chickens. Their friend Dan was in charge of the "wall security" while everybody else worked the "overall security" The wall security was a strong security. One of the best things about it was that it had two ways for the turkeys to stop a chicken from getting in. The first way is called staircase fall. In staircase fall the chicken sees about fifteen steps. He goes up to do some mischief on the turkeys to get them back. On the thirteenth step he steps on something wobbly. A trapdoor opens and he falls down. The chicken hits a hard stone floor. He stays there for a couple of days. Finally after the chicken is taught a lesson they let him go. The next one is called rope stop. In rope stop a chicken sees a rope. He climbs up. In the middle it is so slippery with grease that he slides down. The grease gets on his wings so if he tries it again he'll slip and slide down again. The overall security had one big trap, the All Away Trap. A chicken marches right into the turkeys' home and BLAM! The chicken is hit by a big slab of wood called a hemosphrat, leaving him on the floor unconscious. Timmy figured out how to make the hemosphrat not hurt the chicken at the time. The hemosphrat comes in so fast that the chicken can't dodge it. It also comes in so fast that it the chicken passes out without pain. But when he regains consciousness his head is throbbing. David built a fourteen foot wall for extra protection. They covered it with grease so the chickens couldn't climb it. They put thorns in the ground around the wall so that if the chickens tried to dig under it they would get poked. But the turkeys had one problem: how were they going to get food? Since the chickens had surrounded Catlest (which are what they now call their home and all the securities) there was no way to get food. But Tom discovered that the tunnel that they had dug from the main feed barn ended right next to the wall the vacuum couldn't get. |
