SPRING

The deadness of winter
Breaks forth into spring,
Like fresh baby birds
Just learning to sing.
March brings
Both wind and renewing showers,
Perfect for kites and rosy-cheeked flowers.
April means
Azaleas in pink glorious bloom,
Only slightly less radiant
Than Jesus rising from the tomb.
May introduces
An earth full of bloom,
With colors that span
From the earth to the moon.
Springtime is indeed
A lesson from above,
That God in His greatness
Shares His magnificent love.
